The Cultural Office of the Spanish Embassy promotes cultural, educational and academic exchange as a means for enhancing the historical bounds between Spain and Japan.
By showing the works of Spanish artists, both classical and contemporary, the Office seeks to strengthen the existing ties among societies. Therefore, the Cultural Office organizes events to present to Japanese audiences the diversity of artistic manifestations and the plurality of Spanish culture, in close cooperation with Japanese and Spanish institutions. This goal incluyes also the promotion of scientific and technological relations between the scientific communities of both countries.
The Cultural Office is led by Mr. Jesús Miguel Sanz Escorihuela, Cultural Councelor of the Embassy of Spain.
