The one day Symposium organized by the Spanish Embassy in Dublin will examine historical and contemporary, political, social, as well as cultural links and connections between Ireland, Spain, and Latin America, ranging from their common Celtic roots to the fight against terrorism in the Basque Country and Northern Ireland. The seminar will include five lectures followed by a discussion and the screening of a documentary about Red Hugh O’Donnell & Spain.

Este simposio organizado por la Embajada de España en Dublín examinará los vínculos y las conexiones históricas y actuales, de tipo político, social y cultural entre Irlanda, España y América Latina, a partir de sus raíces celtas comunes hasta la lucha contra el terrorismo en el País Vasco e Irlanda del Norte. El seminario incluirá cinco conferencias seguidas de un debate y la proyección de un documental sobre Red Hugh O’Donnell y España.
