The Consular Section of the Spanish Embassy in Canberra only has jurisdiction in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and Queanbeyan. People located in the rest of Australia should contact the Consulate General of Spain in Sydney or the Consulate General of Spain in Melbourne.

Consular emergency telephone numbers
The consular emergency telephone number is NOT for general information or assistance. It is an emergency line available 24 hours a day for Spanish citizens who are in the consular demarcation and who are in a severe emergency situation, impeding postponing the assistance to public service hours (accidents, arrests, detentions at the border, hospitalizations, acts of violence, etc.).
