Update on Visa and Travel Restrictions

8 de junio de 2021
VISAS AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

Regarding travel to SPAIN:

From 7th June 2021, the following travelers will be allowed into Spain:

Spanish and EU citizens.
Non-EU citizens, IF
o They are fully vaccinated (14 days before travel); OR
o They meet the requirements for their travel to be considered essential.
(According to Order INT/657/2020, this applies to EU residents, holders of long duration visas (ie national visas), health professionals, seafarers, diplomats, military, students, highly qualified professionals, urgent family reasons and humanitarian reasons. Notwithstanding, THESE MIGHT NEED PRIOR APPROVAL BY BORDER CONTROL.)

All travelers arriving to Spain will need to comply with the following:

Fill an online health form, available at www.spth.gob.es and iOS/Android Spain Travel Health – SPTH apps. The generated QR code must be shown to flight companies and border control.
Temperature control at arrival.
Document control: each passenger (over 6 years old) must be able to show at least one of the following certificates:
o Vaccination, with all doses completed at least 14 days before travel.
o Negative PCR / Antigen test, maximum 48 hours before departure.
o Medical certificate of having overcome COVID, maximum 180 days since the first positive test.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE RESTRICTIONS MAY CHANGE AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT (CHECK www.sthp.gob.es FOR ANY NEWS).

PLEASE NOTE ALSO THAT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS ARE INDEPENDENT OF THE VISA PROCESS AND MUST BE MET WHEN YOU ENTER SPAIN. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU MEET THESE CONDITIONS.

Regarding travel to GREECE or SLOVENIA:

Visas are issued in representation of these countries according to the Schengen code, which does not account for any COVID-19 restrictions that might be in place. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK WITH THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES WHETHER YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THEIR TERRITORY. A visa does not automatically mean that you are allowed to enter into Schengen; border control authorities will have the final say.

Kindly note that VISA FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
