Other countries of accreditation and International Organizations
The Embassy of Spain to Trinidad and Tobago is also accredited before the Governments of Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, Surinam, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Saint Lucia. The primary Spanish diplomatic mission in the Southern Caribbean is located in Port of Spain. There is also a resident diplomat in Castries, St. Lucia, dependent on Port of Spain. Our country also has Honorary Consuls in five of the six countries of accreditation. In addition to the consular and diplomatic assistance extended from Port of Spain, those Honorary Consuls might provide specific consular services to the Spanish and foreign citizens, under the authority of the Ambassador of Spain. They will also give the needed support in case of an emergency.

In addition to those six countries, the Embassy of Spain to Trinidad and Tobago is accredited to the following Caribbean regional organizations:
1. Caribbean Community / CARICOM
Headquarters in Georgetown (Guyana).
Integration Organization gathering 14 non-Spanish speaking Caribbean countries and the territory of Monserrat (this group, along with the Dominican Republic is known as CARIFORUM).
2. Organization of Eastern Caribbean States / OECS
Headquarters in Castries (Saint Lucia). Seven insular Member States of the English-speaking Caribbean. In St. Lucia, there is a resident diplomat attached to the Embassy of Spain, Port of Spain, who is accredited to the OECS.
3. Association of Caribbean States / ACS
Headquarters in Port of Spain (Trinidad and Tobago). Member States of the so-called “Greater Caribbean” (CARICOM + Central America + Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela).
