The Resolution of November 11th, 2020, of the General
Directorate of Public Health, regarding health controls to be carried out at
the points of entry into Spain, has been updated. It establishes that all passengers
coming from a country or area of risk listed in Annex II, who intend to enter
Spain, must have a diagnostic test for active infection (PCR) for SARS-CoV-2
with a negative result, carried out within seventy-two hours prior to arriving
in Spain.
As of 00:00 hours on November 30th, 2020, Spain will
require all travelers from Canada to have a negative PCR test performed within
seventy-two hours prior to arriving in Spain. This measure is not applicable to those passengers who
are in airport transit. Passengers whose final destination is Spain must travel
with their negative PCR and the health control form that can be found at https://www.spth.gob.es/
