The Officer in charge of Consular Affairs, acting as Notary, may authorize the following documents:
DEEDS:
They deal with legal affairs or declarations of intention. The deeds that are most frequently granted at the Embassy are as follows:
General power of attorney for lawsuits.
General power of attorney for inheritances, administration and management of property.
General power of attorney for purchasing property.
General power of attorney for selling property.
General power of attorney.
STATEMENTS:
They record facts or statements that are neither certificates nor contracts. The statements that are most frequently granted at the Embassy are:
