ELIGIBILITY
 
This Consular Section issues Schengen visas to Jamaican citizens  living in Jamaica and other nationals with legal residence in Jamaica whose main destination is one or more of the following Schengen States: Spain, Austria, France, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, The Czech Republic, Slovenia, The Slovak Republic, The Republic of Latvia and Switzerland.
 
This Consular Section issues Schengen visas to non-citizens with legal residence in Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica and St. Kitts and Nevis to Spain only.
 
 
APPOINTMENTS
 
As of Monday, June 29, 2015, applicants will be required to schedule an appointment for the submission of visa applications at this Consular Section.
 
Ø       How to schedule an appointment
 
To set a visa appointment at this Consular Section, the applicant (s) must complete the attached appointment application form and forward the document via e-mail to emb.kingston@maec.es . The subject of this e-mail must read “Visa Appointment”.
 
If an applicant misses the scheduled appointment then he/she must follow the procedure above and submit a request for a new date and time via e-mail.
 
The Consular Section is open to the public from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. Monday to Friday.
 
 
NO firearms or weapons allowed! Persons carrying firearms or weapons will NOT be permitted entry.
 
 
BIOMETRICS
 
All applicants (except children under the age of twelve) must submit application in person at this Consular Section as biometrics are now required for visa processing.
 
 
DOCUMENTATION
 
Please ensure that all required documentation is presented.  Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.

SCHENGEN VISA
 
Attached below are the requirements and application form for the Schengen visa.  This Consular Section issues Schengen visas to Jamaican citizens living in Jamaica and other nationals with legal residence in Jamaica whose main destination is one or more of the following Schengen States: Spain, Austria, France, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, The Czech Republic, Slovenia, The Slovak Republic, The Republic of Latvia and Switzerland.
 
This Consular Section issues Schengen visas to non-citizens with legal residence in Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica and St. Kitts and Nevis to Spain only.
 
Please note that via a Visa Waiver Agreement between the Schengen Area and the countries of Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica and St. Kitts and Nevis, citizens of these four countries no longer require a Schengen Visa (may spend up to 90 days in the Schengen Area sans visa).

SEAMAN’S VISA
 
Attached below are the requirements and application form for seaman’s visa for those who are scheduled to board their respective ship in a port of one of the following countries: Spain, Austria, France, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, The Czech Republic, Slovenia, The Slovak Republic, The Republic of Latvia and Switzerland.

VISA FOR ARTISTES/MUSICIANS
 
Attached below are the requirements for the artist/musician visa for Jamaican musical artistes living in Jamaica and other nationals with legal residence in Jamaica as well as non-citizens with legal residence in Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Dominica and St. Kitts and Nevis who are scheduled to travel to one or more of the countries listed below for specific performances that do not exceed 5 consecutive days or 20 non consecutive days within a 3-month period.
