Self-employed Visa
RESIDENT VISA - SELF EMPLOYED/INVESTMENT
 
To apply for a RESIDENT VISA FOR SELF EMPLOYED WORK, the applicant must submit the following documents:

1- Passport with a validity of at least 6 months.
2- One visa application form per applicant.
3- Two passport sized photographs, one of which must be glued (not stapled) to the top left had corner of the visa application form.
4- One application for work authorisation (Solicitud de Autorización para trabajar ex-01), duly completed, including a fee you can check here.
5- Fingerprint check from your nearest Police station, covering all states of Australia for Australian residents and police clearance certificates from any other country where the applicant has lived in the last 5 years (this/these documents must be less that 6 months old)
6- Medical Certificate, stating that the applicant does not have any of the diseases that could harm the public health according to the International Health Regulation of 2005, and is fit to travel (must be less than 6 months old).
7- A non refundable visa fee per applicant. Payment is accepted by cash only. Without this payment a visa will not be processed.
8- Evidence of having the necessary economic capacity for the implementation of the project along with financial backing (translated into Spanish).
9- A complete business plan outlining the activities, investment plans, predicted profits, and if applicable, any employment positions it may create (translated into Spanish).
10- If applicable, any degrees that support your professional qualifications must be officially approved and translated into Spanish.

FOR FAMILY MEMBERS:
As above, including an application form for residency (except the application for work authorization) and evidence of relationship (birth and marriage certificates). Applicants under the age of 18 are not requires a police check.

ALL APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE LODGED IN PERSON. IT WILL NO LONGER BE POSSIBLE TO LODGE AN APPLICATION BY POST.
