INSTRUCTIONS FOR VISA APPLICATION
Here you will find the documentation you need depending on the type of visa you need:
SHORT-TERM VISAS
A short-term visa (also called a "Schengen visa") enables a stay or transit in the territory of Spain and in the rest of the Schengen States whose duration does not exceed three months (90 days). This is the visa that you must request, for example, for tourism trips, business, attendance at seminars or visits to relatives, whose duration is less than three months.
This visa is valid for the following countries, which make up the so-called Schengen area: Spain, Germany, Denmark, Poland, France, Portugal, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Sweden, Slovak Rep., Belgium, Greece, Estonia, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Latvia, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Malta. Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein are also members of the Schengen area although they are not members of the European Union. Therefore, the visa issued by an Embassy or Consulate of any of these countries is valid to enter the others
On the other hand, visas issued by countries of the European Union that are not part of the Schengen area (United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria) are only valid to enter each of these States
Together with the Schengen visa application form (
