VISA DEPARTMENT: for Short Stay/Schengen Visas please make the appointment and follow instructions on this website. For Long Stay Visas please make the appointment on this website. PASSPORT DEPARTMENT: appointments are strongly suggested, except for the safe conduct travel document that is issued in case of passport lost or stolen.
If you wish, you can come to the Consulate with no appointment, any business day from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 2:00pm, and the consular services will try to assist you with all diligence and as soon as possible. But occasionally, at certain times, an excess of demand could cause an unavoidable delay and excessive waiting time.
Therefore, if you should be attended at a specific time, minimizing the waiting time, we recommend to make an appointment at your convenience depending on the availability. Users with booked appointment will be assisted first.
CIVIL REGISTRY DEPARTMENT: before coming to the Consulate to submit documents or start procedures relating to Civil Registration (birth certificates, marriage or death certificates, requests for certifications, recoveries or options of nationality, etc.), or to request an appointment or send files or documents by mail, please contact this service to verify the steps to take and confirm if all the documentation is correct.

This same service will notify you if your physical presence at the Consulate for the delivery of your application or documentation is needed or you may send it by mail or courier.
LEGALIZATION DEPARTMENT: (certificates of residence, legalization of photocopies and translations, renewal of driving licenses, gun and hunting permits in Spain, NIF and NIE, transport of mortal remains to Spain, "FNMT" electronic certificates, general registration of documents, etc.). No appointment is necessary.
NOTARY DEPARTMENT: (power of attorney, wills and other notary procedures). You must request an appointment sending duly filled out the notary form to, stating your name and detailing the purpose of the request and what times and dates would be the more convenient for the appointment.
