Before Beginning:
Make sure that you legally reside in the Los Angeles Consulate's jurisdiction. This Consulate's jurisdiction covers Southern California (Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Sand Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties), Arizona, Colorado and Utah. Do not forget that tourists visiting the United States on a B1/B2 visa must apply in their country of residence.
Remember to make an appointment to appear at the Consulate in person through our online schedule. Walk-ins will be turned away.
Be aware that each visa has an associated fee which the applicant will be responsible for paying on the day of their appointment. We only accept certified funds (money order or cashier's check). Personal checks, credit cards and debit cards will NOT be accepted.
